It's So Hard to Say Goodbye....

We were able to spend the past six days with this guy and the littles were so happy until we had to say goodbye. 

Still Not Great at This.....

It was a sad sad morning for our little family as we said goodbye to Uncle Jon and wished him well on his next adventure. He will certainly be missed by our crew.

What story time looks like when you add three more kiddos to the mix. :) We are so grateful for the time with Micah's cousins and love seeing the kids having so much fun together. 

An Eventful Day

We started our morning early watching Mr. M in his soccer tournament....

And we ended the day meeting our newest family member! I felt so fortunate to hold this beautiful bundle in my arms within the first 12 hours of her life and can't wait to see our niece grow.

Second Chances

Went to see my baby brother again today - words will never accurately describe how full my heart was when he met my youngest babes and we took a walk together. Feeling so grateful for second chances this evening. 

A Special Visit

An unfortunate situation occurred last weekend, bringing some of my family closer by. We are trying to make the most of a difficult situation so the littles were able to meet my mom and grandma. It was a quick two hour visit, but I am grateful that they finally met them!

Cousins!

The babes met their cousin for the first time and now they all have baby fever!

Spunky Lady

A week ago tonight we traveled to gather with family. This spunky lady kept me up until two a.m. talking about everything on her mind and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. 

Rapid City Retreat

Micah headed to the mountains for a climbing trip so the little man and I head to Rapid City for a visit.

I took M. to a place where I used to hike a lot in high school - it was so refreshing to be in a place I feel so familiar with and remember all of the moments I would come here for a little retreat and take some time to process and journal.

We made a quick trip to visit family before Micah's youngest sister and her husband move to Japan for the next three years. We had a nice time with the family and are already looking forward to when we will be back together again.

This morning I flew out of Denver, traveling to Albuquerque to celebrate and remember the life of my uncle, Kenny. He was my father's youngest sibling and he will certainly be missed.
