Super Decorating Power to the Rescue

Photobucket
We got busy with decorating and that could only be done with the Super M cape. Makes sense to me - especially when you need to fly to the top of the tree to get the decorations on.

A Great Way to Spend the Day

Photobucket
M. got a LOT of loving today from these wonderful children. So thankful for them and the opportunity to have them be a part of our lives.

Perfection No More

Photobucket

Although I am still claiming perfection, because let's be honest,
who else can see things that are 1/4 inch tall and miles away?!

I am at a conference until later today and I am starting to miss this little man. Can't wait to get home to him.

Pondering

For the Poor

Make us worthy, Lord, to serve those people throughout the world who live and die in poverty and hunger.

Give them through our hands, this day, their daily bread, and by our understanding love, give them peace and joy.

A Working Entrance

Ever since we have moved into the house, we haven't been able to use the front door properly. It wouldn't remain closed unless it has the deadbolt locked with the one key that we were given. It also sat crooked in the frame so a lot of air, cold air might I add, came into the living room. Of course, I need not worry because I married Micah the handy man and how did he spend his first day off after a long week of conferences? By putting in a new door of course!
Photobucket
The old door is seen in the upper left hand corner, the new door in the bottom right hand corner. Not entirely sure what is going on in the lower left hand picture - maybe Micah is showing M. and Jon how you install a door Spiderman style.....

Pondering

It's all about perspective....

"If one hundred people represented the world's population, fifty-three of those would live on less than $2 a day. Do you realize that if you make $4,000 a month, you automatically make one hundred times more than the average person on this planet? Which is more messed up-that we have so much compared to everyone else, or that we don't think we're rich? That on any given day we might flippantly call ourselves 'broke' or 'poor'? We are neither of those things. We are rich. Filthy rich."
