Micah was able to check off his goal of riding his bike from Laramie to Fort Collins. So proud of him!

Not much else has been happening since work on the driveway began and these two have been spending a lot of time on the back steps watching the process. Hope we can find something to fill our time with once it is done!

Headed to the art museum with the little man today. 

We looked at portraits around the museum and then spent some time making self-portraits. 

M. was a little upset that his hands only had four fingers because "that's not what my hand looks like at all!"

We headed up to Vedauwoo and M. got to enjoy some mountain biking with Micah. Right now there is a fire ban so most of the time around camp was spent playing games and making up silly stories.

During devotional time with Aba:

"Does God love me more than you love me?"

Micah: "Yes, but I am trying hard to love you just as much."

Met up with this lovely lady at the park today. We let the kids play and tried to cram in as much catching up as you can do with four kids to watch. It is always so great to reconnect with her and remember all that has happened in life since our "younger" days.

Adventures and Travels

We spent the 4th of July climbing behind Mount Rushmore and hiking in the Black Hills. Love being back in the places where we spent so much time in high school. The little man did a great job climbing and I tried my best to keep encouraging (even when he was pretty high up). 

After a day full of sunshine and movement we packed up the car and drove to the eastern part of the state to visit grandparents. 

M. passes his time in the car by eating yogurt and apparently wiping it all over his face. 

It was an incredibly quick trip to see grandparents (and a bonus visit with an auntie and cousin), but we were so grateful that we took the time. Unfortunately my grandma had kept us so busy that I forgot to take a photo but she sent us on our way with full bellies, some rhubarb and a few other plants from her garden.

We made a trip back to Rapid and the little man wouldn't be satisfied if we didn't head up to Dinosaur Park. Thankfully Uncle Ben was able to join us so it was even more exciting.
