Our Inheritance

It has been a little bit of a sad day as today we said goodbye to some dear friends (getting ready to travel the world) of ours, or our inheritance as Micah would say.

Two years ago we moved into our current home and living in the basement was this lovely couple. So when we bought the house we also inherited them with the house. They have become very important to our family as we shared the daily aspects of living life together in a tiny home. They were there providing us meals when we first moved in, helping us pack when we left for Ethiopia, and welcoming us home with open arms when we returned from Ethiopia. They were there to provide endless hugs, cups of tea, and encouragement through some of the most trying times prior to parenting and after. We are incredibly sad to see them go, but are excited to follow them along on their journey, and we anxiously await their return. Come home soon "Bike and Bulissa"

We're always coming home...

Miss you entirely more than I want to admit...just because it makes this whole traveling the world thing seem that much more ridiculous and unnecessary.

Thanks for getting back on the blogging train - my heart is SUPER grateful to have a glimpse at your life.
