Merry Christmas!
Well, in keeping with our newer tradition, we really can't believe that it is already time for another techno-savvy Christmas letter - time is flying by!
2009 has been a busy but eventful year. We would recap for you all that has happened but will save you the time of reading (unless you are interested then hit the older posts button at the bottom).
Major events that took place this year:
* SaraJane had foot surgery - a little bit of a challenging experience but very much worth the pain.
* Micah participated in the officiating of his first wedding for our wonderful friends Nate and Lisa!
* We had some crazy rounds of illnesses, rashes, vomiting, etc..... and have been to the emergency room twice this past school year. ARGH!!
*While "deep cleaning" our house we got our referral phone call for our little man!!! So exciting!
* SaraJane traveled to Honduras with Heifer International and had a great experience!
* We signed the papers on our first home and left for Ethiopia the next day = CRAZY!!!!!!!
* We met our son for the first time and it was everything we had ever imagined and more. Life will never be the same.
There is a lot that we have experienced this past year, but we know that the most important part - the part that has helped us get through a lot of these times - is the times spent with people. We are so grateful for all of you and how you have come along with us on some of the most intense parts of our journey this year. We pray this holiday season is seen through the eyes of a child and filled with many moments of joy and love.
